Prerequisites for NetSuite Analytics Warehouse EPM Integrator Configuration

In the NetSuite Analytics Warehouse EPM instance, perform the prerequisite steps for the EPM Integrator configuration.

You must create a source application in Data Exchange and specify the source cubes. The NetSuite Analytics Warehouse EPM Integrator uses the period mapping for incremental load.

1.  Set up the source applications in the EPM instance.
   1. Log in to the EPM system and navigate to Data Exchange.
   2. From the Actions menu, navigate to Applications, and then click the + (Add) icon to create applications.
   3. Specify the application details.
      • Category -  Select EPM Local.
      • Application - Select the application name.
      • Cubes - Select the necessary Cube (Don't select All Input Cubes)
      • Prefix - Enter FDI.
   Repeat the above steps for all the cubes in the application. You must create a single source  application for each cube.
2. Create the category mapping in the Data Exchange application.
   1. In the EPM System, navigate and select Data Exchange.
   2. From the Actions menu, navigate to Category Mapping.
   3. Click the + icon and create a category mapping under Global Mapping.
      Notice that the Category name and the Target Category is FDI_EXPORT_CAT.
   4. Click Save.
3. Validate that the period mapping is available in the EPM System.
   1. In the EPM System, navigate and select Data Exchange.
   2. From the Actions menu, navigate to Period Mapping and make sure that data is available for the current, future, and historical years.
