Integrations and Add-on Services

OpenAir supports the following integrations and add-on services.

The following integrations are available as optional features:

NetSuite Integration

The NetSuite Integration feature provides a seamless flow of information between OpenAir Professional Services Automation (PSA) and NetSuite Financials (ERP). It lets you leverage the strength of both system and create an integrated solutions for greater collaboration, automation and efficiency gains across your enterprise.

Business Intelligence Connector

The Business Intelligence Connector feature is a licensed add-on that lets you publish OpenAir reports and list views to a data feed in an OData/JSON format, which is a standard format that can be consumed by BI tools such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau and many other applications.

SAML Single Sign-On

The SAML Single Sign-on (SSO) feature lets you use an external Identity Provider service to manage user access to your OpenAir account.

The following integrations are available as add-on services aimed at account administrators:

Exchange Integration Manager

OpenAir Exchange Manager (Exchange Integration Manager) is a Windows-based application that enables IT system administrators to set up and run the integration between OpenAir and Microsoft Exchange. You can configure the OpenAir <> Exchange integration to export several OpenAir transactions for any OpenAir user to the Exchange user mailbox for each defined user as a calendar events, and update or delete the calendar events in the Exchange user mailbox when the transactions are changed or deleted in OpenAir. You can also use the OpenAir <> Exchange integration to import calendar events created by a user in their email client into OpenAir as bookings for that user, and update bookings in OpenAir when changes are made to the calendar events in the Exchange user mailbox.

Integration Manager

OpenAir Integration Manager is a Windows desktop application designed to support the exchange of data between OpenAir and third-party applications in your infrastructure using CSV export and import functionality. OpenAir Integration Manager is a licensed add-on service.

The following integrations are available as add-on services aimed at professionals and project managers:

Projects Connector

OpenAir Projects Connector lets Project Managers exchange project plan information between OpenAir and Microsoft Project.

Outlook Connector

OpenAir Outlook Connector can be used by authorized individual OpenAir users to export their task assignments, bookings, and schedule requests to their Microsoft Outlook calendar.

OpenAir also provides the following client applications in addition to the OpenAir UI:

Mobile

OpenAir Mobile lets you create, submit and keep track of your time and expenses from your iOS or Android mobile device.

OffLine

OpenAir OffLine extends your OpenAir access to your personal computer when offline.
