Create a child customer

Create a new company customer directly from its intended parent so that QuickStart supplies the hierarchy relationship. Open Menu, and then select Sales > Customers.

Before you begin

Create the company customer that will be the parent.

To create a child customer

1. Open Menu, and then select Sales > Customers.
2. Select the parent customer.
3. Select More actions > Create child customer.
4. Follow steps 3-9 in Create a customer, and verify the supplied Parent customer.
5. Select Save.

QuickStart creates the child customer and displays it in the parent customer’s hierarchy.
