Usage Notes
You can import vendors from third-party systems using the processes detailed in Import a file.
QuickStart creates new or updates existing records, based on whether references to existing records are included in your file.
You can generate a CSV template for vendors that includes all editable vendor record fields, and each column represents a field of the vendor record. You can remove columns that correspond to optional vendor fields that you do not need for your import. For more information about generating this template, see Work with the CSV file template. The following are the minimum required fields for vendors:
-
Primary Column
-
Company name, when Type is Company.
-
Last name and First name, when Type is Individual.
-
Type, using Company or Individual.
