Create a sales order from a quote

Convert an accepted quote to a sales order so that its customer, items, quantities, and prices carry into the order. Open Menu, and then select Sales > Quotes.

Before you begin

The quote must have Closed - won status.

To create a sales order from a quote

1. Open Menu, and then select Sales > Quotes.
2. Select the quote to open it.
3. Select More actions > Convert to sales order.
4. Review the order and edit any section that needs current information. If the quote contains an item that must be fulfilled, review the fulfillment location and shipping address. An order that contains only nonfulfillable items does not require a shipping address.
5. Add a memo or attachment when applicable.
6. Select Submit or Save as draft.

QuickStart creates a sales order with a unique SO number and changes the quote status to Converted.
