Create a fiscal quarter

Create a fiscal quarter when you need a custom quarter that was not generated with its fiscal year. Select Menu, then select Accounting > Accounting periods.

Before you begin

You need permission to manage accounting periods. The parent fiscal year must already exist.

Create a fiscal quarter

1. Select Menu, then select Accounting > Accounting periods.
2. Select Create accounting period, then select Fiscal quarter.
3. Enter a unique Period name.
4. Select the required Parent period.
5. Select Create.

The fiscal quarter appears under its parent year. Its dates are derived from the fiscal periods assigned to it.
