Review payables transaction details
Open a payables transaction to review its supporting records and accounting information. The available tabs depend on the transaction type and its status.
Review supporting information
- Applied transactions shows bills, credits, payments, or prepayments applied to the transaction and the applicable amounts.
- Created vendor bills shows bills generated from a recurring vendor bill.
- Automated process results shows results produced when a recurring schedule runs.
- Attachments contains files associated with the transaction when that transaction type supports attachments.
- Sent emails contains email records related to the transaction.
- Related transactions shows transactions created from or linked to the current transaction when available.
Review accounting information
Open Accounting to review the posting period, accounts payable or prepayment account, and General ledger impact for a posting transaction.
Draft, pending-approval, and rejected transactions do not have a posting general ledger impact. After a transaction posts, use the general ledger impact to verify the accounts, debit and credit amounts, and any enabled accounting segments.
Voiding a posting transaction reverses its accounting impact. Applications and unapplied amounts can also change when a related payment, credit, or prepayment is applied, unapplied, deleted, or voided.
