On-time delivery report
Use the On-time delivery report in Menu > Reports to compare vendors by the percentage of received purchase order item lines delivered on time and by their average delay. A line is on time when its receipt date is on or before its original expected receipt date; a received line without that date is not counted as on time.
Run the report
- Open Menu > Reports. In Search by report or description, enter the report name and press Enter.
- Select On-time delivery.
- Select Change date range to change the purchase order date range. The default is Previous one half.
- Optionally filter by Receiving location.
- Review Percentage on-time orders and Average delay by vendor. Expand a vendor to inspect the contributing purchase orders and items when detail is available.
- Select Export as Excel (.xlsx) to export to Excel, or open More actions and select Export as PDF.
How the report is calculated
The report includes received purchase order item lines in the report period. A line is on time when its receipt date is on or before its original expected receipt date. Percentage on-time orders is the number of on-time included lines divided by the number of included received lines, expressed as a percentage. A received line without an original expected receipt date is not counted as on time. Average delay is the total number of late days divided by the number of delayed lines.
