Connect or disconnect single sign-on
Connect your QuickStart user to a single sign-on (SSO) provider configured by your administrator, or disconnect a provider that you no longer use. In the global navigation, select your name or initials, and then select My preferences.
Before you begin
- The Single sign-on section is displayed only when your administrator has configured at least one provider for the account.
- You can connect only one SSO provider at a time.
- You cannot disconnect SSO when it is your only authentication method. Add another method first.
- Have credentials for the SSO provider and an existing QuickStart authentication method available.
Connect an SSO provider
- In the global navigation, select your name or initials, and then select My preferences.
- In Categories, select Security and authentication > Authentication.
- In Single sign-on, select Connect followed by the provider name.
- Verify your identity with one of the available QuickStart authentication methods.
- On the provider’s sign-in page, sign in and grant consent if the provider requests it.
QuickStart displays the provider as connected. You can use it as a sign-in method.
Disconnect an SSO provider
- In Single sign-on, locate the connected provider and select Disconnect.
- Verify your identity with one of the available methods. If you choose the connected SSO method, complete the provider sign-in.
QuickStart disconnects the provider and displays Connect for it again.
