Manage Ask Oracle chats

Use Your chats in the Ask Oracle panel to return to a saved conversation, rename it, delete conversation history that you no longer need, or start a separate conversation with New chat. Ask Oracle preserves completed chats for later reference and warns before leaving a conversation whose response is still being generated.

Open a saved chat

1. In the global navigation, select New Chat.
2. Select Your chats.
3. Select the conversation that you want to open.

Ask Oracle displays the saved conversation. Ask Oracle generates a title after the conversation starts, and you can rename it later. If a response is still being generated in the current conversation, QuickStart asks whether you want to stop it before opening the previous conversation.

Start a new chat

1. In the Ask Oracle panel, select New chat.
2. If QuickStart asks for confirmation because a response is still being generated, select Start new conversation.

A separate conversation opens. The previous conversation remains available in Your chats.

Rename a chat

1. Select Your chats.
2. Select the rename action for the conversation.
3. In Conversation title, enter the new title.
4. Select Save.

The updated title appears in Your chats.

Delete a chat

1. Select Your chats.
2. Select the delete action for the conversation.
3. In the confirmation dialog, select Delete conversation.

The conversation is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
