Import products or services

Start a product or service file import directly from the Items list when you need to create or update multiple items. QuickStart opens the file import dialog with the corresponding record type already selected.

Before you begin

You need permission to import the selected item type. Prepare a CSV file that follows the product or service import template.

Import items

  1. Open Menu > Products and services > Items.
  2. Open More actions.
  3. Select Import product or Import service.
  4. In the file import dialog, download the template when you need it, and then prepare your data without changing the template headers.
  5. Upload the completed CSV file and finish the import steps.

QuickStart submits the import and refreshes the Items list when processing finishes. You can also review the import from Menu > Administration > Data import > File import. In File import, the corresponding record type is named Item - Product or Item - Service.
