Remove a child customer

Remove a customer from its current hierarchy without deleting the customer record. Open Menu, and then select Sales > Customers.

To remove a child customer

1. Open Menu, and then select Sales > Customers.
2. Select the child customer.
3. Select Edit.
4. Clear Parent customer. To move the child to another hierarchy, select the new parent instead.
5. Select Update.

QuickStart removes the old parent relationship. The child remains an active customer unless you separately make it inactive or delete it.
