Get started with bank transfer deposits
Create a bank transfer deposit from an in-transit bank transfer to record money arriving in the receiving account. Submitting the deposit debits the receiving account, credits the default intermediary account, and changes the transfer to Deposited.
You can start the deposit from either of the following locations:
- Open an in-transit bank transfer, select More actions, and then select Deposit bank transfer.
- Open Menu, select Banking, select Cash management, and then select Bank transfers. Open the row actions for an in-transit transfer and select Deposit bank transfer.
QuickStart copies the receiving account and transfer details to the bank transfer deposit. You can also add fees that reduce the amount received.
Submitting the deposit debits the receiving account, credits the default intermediary account, and changes the related bank transfer to Deposited status.
To deposit the transfer again, first delete its existing bank transfer deposit.
