File import status page columns
Use the eight columns on the Import Status page to identify an import, monitor its progress, review the number of imported records, and access available actions. You can see your own imports; account administrators can also see imports initiated by other users.
-
Record type: The type of record you wanted to import. Examples include customer, contact, or sales order.
-
Operation: Type of data operation. For example, create a record, update an existing record, create or update based on the imported data, or if you wanted to transform your record into another type of record.
-
File name: The name of the file you uploaded for import.
-
Status: The status of your import. The status can be Submitting, Queued, In progress, Complete, Stopped, or Errors found.
-
Imported: The number of records that were successfully imported out of the total number of importable records.
-
Created date: The date and time you created the import request by selecting Import.
-
End date: The date the system finished processing your import.
-
Actions: A list of additional actions you can take. For example, you can stop a running import or download the result file.
The result file contains the data of your imported file with three additional columns.
- The Status column, where you can see if the import of each specific record in your file has been successful.
- The Error column, that displays any error messages.
-
The Internal ID column, that shows you the internal ID of each record that has been newly created or updated.
If you need to make corrections to your data, you can make them directly to the result file, save the changes and import it. QuickStart ignores the values of these three additional columns, and replaces them with new values when it has finished processing the file.
Important:
You can only see the status and download the result file of imports that you have initiated. Only account administrators can see the status and download the result files of all imports.
