Get started with region preferences

Use the account Region preferences to set the default time zone and display formats for dates, times, numbers, percentages, and financial amounts throughout QuickStart. These account defaults are separate from an individual user’s region preferences and apply after you select the values and save them.

Before you begin

You must have permission to change QuickStart settings. These changes set the company defaults for all users. Individual users can override the regional format from My preferences > Region.

Set the account region preferences

1. Open Menu > Administration > QuickStart settings.

2. Select General, and then select Region.

3. Select the account Time zone.

4. Select the Regional format.

5. Review the date, time, number, percentage, and financial amount examples in Format preview.

6. Select Apply.

The selected values become the default region preferences for the account.
