Delete your password

Delete your QuickStart password when you want to use a passkey or another configured method instead. In the global navigation, select your name or initials, and then select My preferences.

Before you begin

Set up at least one other authentication method, such as a passkey or SSO. QuickStart does not let you delete your last authentication method.

Steps

1. In the global navigation, select your name or initials, and then select My preferences.
2. In Categories, select Security and authentication > Authentication.
3. In the Password section, select Delete.
4. Verify your identity with one of the available authentication methods.
5. In the Delete password? step, select Delete.

Result

QuickStart displays a Password deleted confirmation and sends a password change notification to your sign-in email address. You can no longer sign in with the deleted password, but your other configured authentication methods remain available.
