Deleting Published Lists

Note:

The functionality described in this topic requires the following features and role permissions. Contact your account administrator if you are not sure about the features enabled for your SuiteProjects Pro account or about your role permissions.

  • Features:

    • Business Intelligence Connector

    • Save list layouts

    • (Optional) Report Analytics

  • Role permission: Publish list view via BI Connector

Depending on your account configuration and on your role, you can delete published lists available for consumption from BI Connector as public resources or you can delete a custom list layout to delete the published list associated with that custom list layout.

When the BI Connector feature is enabled for your account, the Report analytics, Saved list views and Managed list view settings lists include the following columns:

Other custom list layout properties provide additional details about the published list including Owner which shows the name of the employee who owns the custom list layout.

Deleting Public Published Lists Using Report Analytics

If the Report Analytics feature is enabled for your account, and you're an account administrator or have the Enable report analytics role permission, you can delete public published lists from BI Connector without deleting the custom list layout.

After you delete the published list, you can continue using the custom list layout and use it to publish the list data again to BI Connector.

Note:

The Reports > Analytics > Lists list shows only the custom list layouts that you can publish to BI Connector as public BI Connector resources or that are already published as public resources. It doesn't include custom list layouts that are already published to the BI Connector as private resources.

For more information about the Report Analytics feature, see Report Analytics.

To delete a public published list from BI Connector using Report Analytics:

  1. Go to Reports > Analytics > Lists.

  2. Locate the custom list layout corresponding to the public published list you want to delete from BI Connector. The list must have the status "Successfully published as public".

    Tip:

Use the column filter for the Publish status column to list only the custom list layouts with the status "Successfully published as public" to view only the publish lists you can delete from BI Connector.
