What Changed or is Changing?
Support for EIM ended on January 13, 2026. All updates, issue fixes, and customer support for EIM stopped on that date.
You may not be able to use EIM to integrate SuiteProjects Pro with Exchange Online because Microsoft is blocking Exchange Web Services (EWS) requests from non-Microsoft apps to Exchange Online. For more information about Microsoft's plan, see Deprecation of Exchange Web Services in Exchange Online.
The EIM installer and all access to SuiteProjects Pro from EIM may be removed in future. EIM help topics are no longer available in the Help Center. The EIM PDF guide remains available for reference until October 2027.
Required Actions
If your organization uses EIM to integrate SuiteProjects Pro with Exchange Online or Exchange Server, switch to an alternative solution. Options include:
-
Using a third-party connector such as Celigo or Boomi, for example.
-
Using SuiteProjects Pro API or SuiteProjects Pro Integration Manager to exchange information between SuiteProjects Pro and Exchange.
Discuss this change with your IT or technical teams to plan your transition.
If you require assistance or more information, please contact SuiteProjects Pro Support.
FAQs
Review the following frequently asked questions and answers:
Which versions of Exchange Server can EIM work with?
Exchange Server 2016 is the only version of Exchange Server that EIM was supported to work before end of support. Exchange Server 2016 reached end of extended support in October 2025. EIM was never officially supported to work with later versions, such as Exchange Server 2019 or SE. The integration between SuiteProjects Pro and later versions of Exchange Server, such as 2019 or SE, may work but we make no guarantees.
Which versions of Windows Server can EIM run on?
EIM was supported to run on Windows Server 2016 and 2019 before end of support. EIM may run on later versions of Windows Server, such as 2022 or 2025, but we make no guarantees.
SuiteScript 2.1 Required for Bundle Scripts in NetSuite 2028.2
With the NetSuite 2028.2 release, all new and existing custom scripts will be required to use SuiteScript 2.1.
The following SuiteProjects Pro integration bundles provide SuiteScript 2.1 versions of all scripts:
-
SuiteProjects Pro SRP Integration (Bundle ID 369637) Version 5.06 or later
-
SuiteProjects Pro Single Sign-on (Bundle ID 369619) Version 8.01 or later
-
SuiteProjects Pro Real-time Add-on (Bundle ID 369630) Version 4.04 or later
SuiteProjects Pro ARM (Bundle ID 370366) Version 1.03 or later provides SuiteScript 2.1 versions of all scripts except SPP: ARM plugin implementation [oa_arm_plugin.js]. The SPP: ARM plugin implementation [oa_arm_plugin.js] script currently uses SuiteScript 2.0 because SuiteScript 2.1 support depends on the Revenue Management plug-in in NetSuite.
Required Actions
Update your SuiteProjects Pro integration bundles to the latest available versions and switch to SuiteScript 2.1 versions of integration bundle scripts where available. For instructions, see Switching to SuiteScript 2.1 Versions of Integration Bundle Scripts.
If the SuiteProjects Pro ARM (Bundle ID 370366) bundle is installed in your NetSuite account, continue to use the SuiteScript 2.0 version of the SPP: ARM plugin implementation [oa_arm_plugin.js] script until a compatible update is available.
