Opening a Model

To open a model from the server:

1. In the Smart View panel, expand Strategic Modeling, and then expand Models.

2. Select a model, right click it, and then select Open-Checkout, Open Model Version, or Open As Copy.

3. If you selected Open Model Version, you can see any versions created for that model. Select the model version you want to open, and then click Open as Copy.

   When you open a model version as a copy, you can't save changes to the data or the model.

   Additionally, in the Open Model Version dialog box, you can:

   • Use the filter to filter the model versions as required.
   • Sort the model versions based on name, creation date, and comment by using the arrows. This affects the display order in the model version list.

To open a model saved on a local machine:

1. Click .
2. Navigate to the directory where models are stored.
3. Click Open.
