Using Alias Manager
Use Alias Manager to create aliases for models, used when linking external models to Freestyle Reports.
To create aliases using Alias Manager:
- From the Reports grouping label, select Freestyle Reports, and then select Alias Manager.
- Specify the location:

Use Model from Server (Model)
For server models.

Use local file (Filename)
For local files.

- Review aliases information:
Alias Manager lists:

Alias: The alias name.

File Name/Model
A multimode column listing alias sources:

File Name
For local files, this lists the filepath and referenced file.

Model
For server implementations, this lists the referenced model.

Password / Archive
A multimode column:

Password
For password-protected files, enter the password.

Archive
For aliases referencing archived models, this lists the archive.

Count
The number of times the alias is currently cited in all Freestyle Reports.

Calc
The current status of the referenced model or file:
Calc
Values need recalculating.
Ready
Values are calculated.

Status
The current description of the model or file:

Open
Someone is accessing the model.

Changed
The model needs recalculating.

Current
The model is calculated and closed.

Label
If a model has a labeled scenario rollup, then list of labels are displayed.

- Optional: To create aliases, click New.
- Click OK.
