More Ways to Manipulate Values

Here are some easy ways to manipulate data:

  • Spread values from a parent cell to its children. For example, you can enter "300" in Q1 (the parent), and 300 is spread to its children: Jan, Feb, and March, automatically filling "100" into each of those months.

  • Enter an operator (+, –, *, /, or %) and then a number. For example, if a cell's initial value is 100, you can enter *5, which changes the value to 500.
