Pushing Data from Model to Model Using Data Maps

Users with the Modeler role can create and run data maps that use Strategic Modeling models as a source and target to move data from one model to another.

You must have Modeler access to the models you want to use as the source and target for the data map.

1. From the Home page, click Strategic Modeling and then click Models.
2. From the Actions menu next to the model you want to push data from (the source for the data map), click Model Data Maps.

   On the Data Maps page, you see any data maps associated with the selected model.

3. To create a data map, click Create.

4. To run the data map, from the Actions menu next to the model you want to push data from (the source for the data map), click Model Data Maps. On the Data Maps page, you see any data maps associated with the selected model. Click Actions next to the data map you want to run, and then click Clear and Push data.
