About Configurations for Oracle Sourcing Notifications

You can configure Oracle Sourcing notifications to suit your business needs.

Response submitted confirmation to supplier notification – Suppliers can receive a notification confirming their negotiation response was submitted successfully. An email and in-app notification is sent to the supplier contact who submits the response. An Oracle Analytics Publisher template is available to configure the layout and content of the notification according to your business needs.

On the Manage Sourcing Notifications page, the notification, Response submitted confirmation to supplier, is available, and is enabled by default for the RFI and RFQ negotiation types. You have the option to enable it for auctions if necessary for your business.

Any attachments added to the online message to suppliers, or team members in the UI, are also included in the email and in-app notification sent to the recipients.

Configure these external notifications that you send to suppliers using Oracle Analytics Publisher:

Configurations you can do in the notification area are as follows:

Add, delete, and update text and labels in a notification.
Change style and font.
Include hyperlinks.
Add new fields.
Remove existing fields.

Notifications that are sent to additional email recipients that aren’t workflow notifications can’t be configured as suggested.
