How You Configure Roles for the Responsive Self Service Procurement Application

Use a role that includes the Manage Requisition with the Responsive Self Service Procurement Application privilege and the Requisition Self Service User role to grant access to the Responsive Self Service Procurement application and to shop using the application.

Note: When you assign roles to users to do these tasks, create a custom role based on the Requisition Self Service User role and assign only the required privileges.

To grant access to specific employees only, configure roles that have the required duty roles using Security Console and assign it to those users.

If you use a predefined role instead of the Requisition Self Service User role, provide these privileges to requesters to use the Responsive Self Service Procurement application:

• Manage Requisition
• Get Enterprise Structures Using REST Service
• Get Best Or All Available Supply Sources
• View Trading Community Location
• View Geography Information
• Manage Item Catalog
• View Units Of Measure List of Values by Web Service
• Use REST Service - Locations List of Values
• View Daily Conversion Rate

If you use a predefined role instead of the Requisition Self Service User role, you must assign this data security policy in addition to the functional privileges:

Grant on Business Unit	Requisition Self Service user can manage requisition in primary BU by REST resources for themselves for the financial business unit associated with their primary assignment. Manage Requisition in Primary BU by REST resources.

Similarly, if you use a predefined role instead of the Procurement Requester role, you must assign this data security policy to the role:
