How You Set Up External Tax Partner Integration for Procurement

You can set up a third-party, external tax partner to compute taxes on purchase requisitions and purchase orders.

To set up integration with an external tax partner you must configure tasks in the Setup and Maintenance work area, under the Financials offering's Transactional Tax functional area. For detailed information about configuring the external tax partner setup, refer to the External Tax Partner Integrations chapter of the Oracle Financials Cloud Implementing Tax guide, available on the Oracle Help Center.

When the external tax partner integration is set up, the external tax partner integration service is called to provide tax calculations for the following procurement flows where the Oracle Fusion tax engine is usually called.

  • Purchase Request web service

  • Requisition import

  • Online requisition flows

  • Purchase Order web service

  • Purchase Order import

  • Online purchase order flows

  • Retroactive pricing
