Conduct RFQ as Next Round After Two-Stage Evaluation

You as a category manager you can conduct an RFQ or auction as the next round after the two-stage evaluation to drive competitive pricing with short listed suppliers.

Once you unlock the commercial evaluation stage in a two-stage RFQ, you can choose to create an RFQ as the next round.

To create a new round as a single stage RFQ.

  1. In the Actions menu, select Manage > Create New Round.

  2. In the Create New Round dialog box, with the Negotiation Type as RFQ, clear the Two stage evaluation check box.

    The Two stage evaluation check box becomes editable only after unlocking the commercial stage and not during the technical stage as the requirements in the commercial section can't be unlocked until the technical evaluation stage is completed.

    All the negotiation information (including negotiation attachments) gets copied over to the new round.

  3. Publish the single stage RFQ.

    For an RFQ, all the response attachments get copied over from the previous round to the new round.
