How You Mask Taxpayer ID

The Personally Identifiable Information (PII) framework provides the security to protect tax identifiers for suppliers classified as individuals. Individual supplier who are defined as suppliers with a Tax Organization Type of Individual or Foreign Individual are provided this masking.

For masking the taxpayer ID of a supplier, the seeded data security policy rules for personally identifiable information (PII) requires to be updated. On updating the policy, the taxpayer ID field on supplier will be masked with asterisks, this prevents users from viewing the sensitive information about individuals.

For information on data security policy details, see the Privacy section in the Supplier Administrator (Abstract Role) chapter, in the Security Reference for Procurement guide.
