How You Work with Administrative Contacts of Suppliers

A supplier contact can be assigned as an administrative contact on the Create Contact page or Edit Contact page.

You can have more than one administrative contact for a supplier.

Communications for supplier self-service registration

An administrative contact will be used as the default user for all supplier registration communications. The email notifications are sent to all the administrative contacts of a supplier to communicate the approval decision (that is, the Approved FYI and Rejected FYI notifications).

Communications for supplier profile maintenance

The administrative contacts will continue as a point of contact for the supplier communications. They will receive notifications when the supplier business classification certificates are expiring.

Supplier Qualifications

The administrative contact is the default contact on the qualifications generated as part of registration, registration approval, and supplier promotion.

Identify administrative contacts from Supplier work area overview

A supplier manager or administrator can identify all the active administrative contacts of a supplier by using the View Administrative Contacts option under any of the table’s Actions menu in the Supplier work area Overview page. Supplier manager or administrator can use this to follow up with the supplier.
