Create a Requisition
You can create a requisition in different ways in the application. You can shop for items from a local catalog, punchout catalog, or by creating a noncatalog request for items that aren’t available in a catalog.
Here are the steps to create a requisition:
- From the Navigator, under Procurement, select Purchase Requisitions (New).

On the Requisitions page, in the Search field, enter the item or service that
you want to order and click Search.
Alternatively, you can browse for items by selecting a category under the Featured categories section.
- Items matching your search are displayed in order of relevance from highest to lowest on the Search Results page.

Select the item you want to order and add it to your requisition by clicking
Add to Cart. The item is added to your shopping
cart.
Alternatively, you can click the item, you will be presented with the Product Details page that contains details about the item. You can check the details and add it to your requisition by clicking Add to Cart. The item is added to your shopping cart.
- Go to the Cart using the navigation bar on the page.

The Cart page contains the items that you added. You can update the quantity or
delete items in the cart if needed.
If you change the quantity, the amounts in the requisition summary panel updates accordingly.
- To update the requisition details, click the Edit icon in the Requisition summary section.
- On the Requisition page, you can enter and edit the additional information such as delivery locations, project numbers, and add attachments.
- Click Update to confirm your changes.

On the Cart page, to submit the requisition, click
Submit.
That’s it. You have created the requisition. It appears in the My recent requisitions section on the Home page where you can view the status and monitor its progress.
