When can you edit a requisition?
You can edit a requisition only if you are the preparer of the requisition.
- The requisition was canceled.
- The lines in the requisition are placed on a purchase order and you don’t have the Change Purchase Order as Procurement Requester privilege.
When you try to edit a requisition, depending on the requisition status, you will notice these flows:

Requisition has editable lines that are in Draft, Withdrawn, Rejected, or Returned status |
Editable lines are loaded to the cart. |
Pending Approval |
You are prompted that the requisition will be withdrawn and upon your confirmation, lines are withdrawn and loaded to the cart. |
Requisition is in Approved status and all the lines in the requisition are on the same purchase order |
You are prompted to create a change order for the PO. If the requisition is on a purchase order, then you can't edit the requisition. You must submit a purchase order change order. |
Requisition is in Approved status and not placed on a purchase order |
You are prompted that requisition will be withdrawn and upon your confirmation, lines are withdrawn and loaded to the cart. |
