Configure Descriptive Flexfields to Use the Next Generation User Experience for Supplier Self-Service Registration
If you've configured the descriptive flexfields of type list of values and you need to use them in the next generation self-service supplier registration, you need to make additional setup changes.
These changes are required to allow anonymous users access to their value sets:
- In the Setup and Maintenance work area, use the Manage Profile Options setup task to create this profile option under the Oracle Supplier Model. application: ORACLE.APPS.FND.APPLCORE.FLEX.DEPLOY.ANONYMOUSRESTSUPPORT. This profile option must be enabled and updatable at site level.
- In the Setup and Maintenance work area, use the Manage Administrator Profile Values setup task to create a profile value Y for the preceding mentioned profile option at site profile level.
- In the Setup and Maintenance work area, use the Manage Supplier Registration Descriptive Flexfields setup task to edit the Supplier Profile descriptive flexfields.

Edit the descriptive flexfield of type list of value and click the
View Value Set button to edit the value set.
- Deploy the Descriptive Flexfields after completing all the changes.
- If you use contacts or addresses descriptive flexfields that are list of values, repeat steps 3-5 using the Manage Trading Community Person Descriptive Flexfields and Manage Trading Community Organization Site Descriptive Flexfields setup tasks.
