Create a Requisition Using a Shopping List

You can create a requisition using a shopping list to quickly shop items that you order frequently. You can select items from the public shopping lists you have access to or the personal shopping lists you have created.

Here are the steps to create a requisition using a shopping list:

  1. From the Navigator, under Procurement, select Purchase Requisitions (New).
  2. On the Requisitions page, in the Actions menu, click Shopping Lists.
  3. The Shopping Lists page lists any public shopping lists that you have access to and any shopping lists that you have created for personal use.
    You can also search shopping lists by name if you have many shopping lists.
  4. Click the shopping list you want to order from.
  5. Search for items within the shopping list by Item, Description, Supplier, Supplier Item, Manufacturer, or, Manufacturer Part Number attributes.
  6. To add any item with the default quantity to your cart, select the check box.

    Alternatively, if you update the quantity for a specific item, the item will be automatically select for you.

  7. After selecting all the items you want to order, click Add to Cart. The items will be added to your shopping cart.
  8. Go to the Cart using the navigation bar on the page.
  9. The Cart page contains the items that you added, review the requisition details.
  10. On the Cart page, to submit the requisition, click Submit.

    That’s it. You have created the requisition. It appears in the My recent requisitions section on the Home page where you can view the status and monitor its progress.
