Filtering Dimension Members (Mass Edit Page)

Note:

Filtering selects a subset of dimension members to work with. Members not selected by the filter are not available for that operation. Filtering is useful only if the filtered member is a parent. The filter is based on its descendants.

Follow these steps to filter members in the Member Selector for the Create Allocation Rule screen and similar locations:

  1. Wherever you can add a dimension member, At the bottom of the Rule Definition area, click Settings button at the right side of the screen and select Filter.

  2. Indicate whether the filter is at Level 0 or not.

  3. In the Member Selector, select dimensions and members to drill down and indicate what you want to match.

  4. To edit a filter, follow these steps and select different dimension members. Change the filter as you want and then click OK.

  5. To delete a filter, clear the member selections and click OK.
