Where does the default burden schedule for the award come from?

The default burden schedule comes from either the sponsor, grants business unit implementation options, or the award template. If needed, you can change the burden schedule on an award.

While creating an award from an award template, the burden schedule on the award template is defaulted to the award. If an award template isn't used to create the award, then the burden schedule comes from the sponsor or from grants business unit implementation options, in that order if the burden schedule is available on those objects. If needed, you can change the burden schedule on an award.
