What's the precedence in which the Create Burden process checks the burden schedule to calculate burdening?

The Create Burden process calculates burdening in this order:

  1. The burden schedule assigned to the lowest-level task in the award project.
  2. If no burden schedule is assigned at the lowest-level task, the application evaluates the parent task hierarchy.
  3. If no burden schedule is defined at any task level, the application checks for the award project override burden schedule.
  4. If no override burden schedule is assigned to the award project, the application checks for the award project burden schedule.
  5. If no burden schedule is assigned to the award project, the application checks for the award burden schedule.

The lowest-level burden schedule defined in the task hierarchy always takes precedence during cost processing.
