Setting Up Inspection Checklist Groups

A checklist group comprises inspection checklists that you can associate with a permit or license application type. You define a checklist group by adding one or more inspection checklists to the group.

You set up inspection checklist groups on the Checklist Group pages.

Before creating inspection checklist groups, you must set up your checklists on the Inspection Checklist page. See Setting Up Inspection Checklists.

Creating Inspection Checklist Groups

  1. Select the Setup and Maintenance tile on the Agency Springboard to access Functional Setup Manager.

  2. From the Setup drop-down list, select your offering: Public Sector Business Licenses or Public Sector Permits.

  3. From the Functional Areas list in the left panel, select Business License Inspections or Permit Inspections, respectively.

    The right panel shows the required tasks for the selected functional area.

  4. Select the task Manage Checklist Groups.

  5. On the Checklist Group page, click Add (+) to create a new checklist group.

  6. On the New Checklist Group page, enter a name and description for the group of inspection checklists.

  7. Click Save.

  8. To add an inspection checklist to the group, click the Add button in the Checklists section.

  9. In the New checklist drawer, select a checklist from the Checklist drop-down list.

    The description for the checklist you selected appears in the Description field.

  10. Click Save.

Modifying or Deleting Checklist Groups

  1. On the Checklist Group page, select the row for the inspection checklist group that you want to modify.

  2. On the Checklist Group Details page, you can only modify the checklist group description. You can't change the group name.

  3. Click Save to save any changes.

  4. Click Delete to delete the checklist group.

Removing Checklists from an Inspection Checklist Group

Note:

You can't modify inspection checklists on the Checklist Group pages; you can only remove them from the group.

  1. On the Checklist Group page, select the row for the checklist group from which you want to remove one or more inspection checklists.

  2. On the Checklist Group Details page, select the row in the Checklists grid that you want to remove from the group.

  3. On the Checklist details drawer, click Delete.
