Setting Up Inspection Checklist Categories
Use checklist categories and subcategories to organize the various types of checklists items for inspections.
You set up inspection checklist categories and subcategories on the Checklist Category pages.
Use the checklist categories and subcategories for categorizing checklist items when you set up inspection checklists on the Inspection Checklist Item Details page. See Setting Up Inspection Checklists.
Adding Checklist Categories

Select the Setup and Maintenance tile on the Agency Springboard to access Functional Setup Manager.

From the Setup drop-down list, select your offering: Public Sector Business Licenses or Public Sector Permits.

From the Functional Areas list in the left panel, select Business License Inspections or Permit Inspections, respectively.
The right panel shows the required tasks for the selected functional area.

Select the task Manage Checklist Categories.

On the Checklist Category page, click the Add (+) button.

Here's how to add a new checklist category:

Enter a name for the checklist item category.

Enter a description of the checklist item category.

In the Checklist subcategory section, click the Add button.

On the New checklist subcategory drawer, enter these criteria:

Click Save.
The subcategory appears in the Checklist subcategory grid.
Modifying Checklist Categories
On the Checklist Category page, select the row for the category that you want to modify.
On the Checklist Category Details page, you can only modify the category description. You can't change the category name.
Click Save.
Modifying Checklist Subcategories
On the Checklist Category page, select the row for the category with the subcategory that you want to modify.
Select the subcategory that you want to modify in the Checklist subcategory grid.
You can only change the description on the Checklist subcategory details drawer.
Click Save.
Deleting Checklist Categories
When you delete a checklist category, all associated subcategories are also deleted.
On the Checklist Category page, select the row for the category that you want to delete.
On the Checklist Category Details page, click Delete.
Deleting Checklist Subcategories

On the Checklist Category page, select the row for the category with the subcategory that you want to delete.

On the Checklist Category Details page, click the row in the Checklist subcategory grid that you want to delete.

In the Checklist subcategory details drawer for the individual checklist subcategory, click the Delete button.
