Using the Intake Form Designer for Permits

This topic describes how to use the Intake Form Designer for permit types, including adding the reference entities field group.

Using the Reference Entities Field Group

To enable a permit to be able to accept links to reference entities during application intake, you need to add the Reference Entities field group to a permit intake form design. With the Reference Entities field group in the intake form, during application intake, applicants will be able to link reference entities to the permit application.

The Reference Entities field group is a standard grid control that you will need to add to your intake form design in the location that suits your agency's intake form requirements. You can add or hide columns in the Reference Entities field group, but you can adjust the common element attributes, such as showing the label, enabling for fee estimates, controlling the display, and so on.
