Setting Up Authorization to Access Secure Web Maps

Agencies can extend their GIS integration to support OAuth 2.0 authorization, which allows Oracle Permitting and Licensing to access secure ArcGIS Online or Enterprise portal web maps. After registering the application with the Esri system, you configure access to the secured web map in the Oracle system.

For OAuth 2.0 authorization to work, you must register the Oracle Permitting and Licensing application on ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise Portal.

During registration, enter the Redirect URL on the Register modal as follows:

Base URL appended with ?root=PSCCOM_OAUTH_REDIRECT& context=ClientName=ESRI

The registration information includes the Application ID and Application Secret, which are needed for the configuration.

Note:

OAuth2 is supported in the classic user interface only.
