Setting Up Electronic Plan Review

You can implement electronic plan review for permits and planning applications using a third-party integration with Bluebeam. This topic provides basic guidance for getting started with electronic plan reviews displayed in the Redwood Experience.

Here's information about setting up electronic plan reviews in Oracle Permitting and Licensing:

• Enable electronic plan reviews in the agency-level options for permits and planning applications. See Setting Up Agency-Level Options for Permits and Setting Up Agency-Level Options for Planning Applications.

• For the integration to work, add the email addresses for reviewers found in their agency staff profiles to the Bluebeam Studio™ portal. For further information about setting up a Bluebeam Studio™ integration, contact Oracle Support.

Automatically Copying Electronic Review Comments

Agencies can automatically copy supported review comments from Bluebeam into Oracle Permitting and Licensing when a plan review cycle is finalized.

Turn on the Copy Electronic Plan Review switch in the agency-level options for permits. It's available only when electronic plan review is also enabled.

Supported Bluebeam comment types include Note, Textbox, and Comment, but replies to Bluebeam comments aren't imported.
