Configuring Templates and Documents in AI Agent Studio
Use AI Agent Studio to create agency-specific AI agents from delivered templates, publish configured agents, and manage documents used by agents. Complete these tasks when setup for a delivered AI agent requires configuration in AI Agent Studio.
For general information about using AI Agent Studio, see Oracle AI for Fusion Applications: How do I use AI Agent Studio?
Select AI Agent Studio in the menu on the Fusion Application home page.
You might need to complete one or more of these tasks, depending on the delivered functionality:
-
Use or copy a delivered template.
Some delivered agents are provided as templates. When a setup topic instructs you to use or copy a template, create an agency-specific version of the agent in AI Agent Studio. For detailed steps for creating agents from templates, use the Oracle AI for Fusion Applications documentation.
-
Create an agency-specific agent or agent team.
Some setup tasks require an agent code or agent team code. Use the code from the published agent or agent team when connecting the agent to another configuration area.
An agent team groups the agents, tools, topics, prompts, and settings that work together for an AI experience. Configure an agent team when the delivered agent requires it.
For page-integrated agents, the agent team code is typically used when adding or exposing the agent on an application page.
-
Configure workflow details, such as email recipients, trigger values, runtime parameters, or schedules.
Some AI agents include workflows that require agency-specific values. Review the agent information to determine which values apply.
-
Add or maintain documents for a RAG-based agent.
Some agents use RAG documents to support responses with agency-specific reference content. Configure documents only when the delivered agent or setup topic requires or supports them.
Some agents rely on agency documents to generate useful responses. For these agents, the setup isn’t complete until the required document is added and available to the agent.
After adding or updating a document, complete the processing or publishing steps required by AI Agent Studio. The document must be available to the agent before you test or deploy the related AI experience.
-
Publish the configured agent and identify the agent code or agent team code for use in a page, landing page tile, rule, or other application configuration.
Publish the agent after the required configuration is complete. Publishing makes the configured agent or agent team available for use by the application configuration that references it.
AI Agent Studio setup isn’t required for embedded AI experiences unless agent information indicates otherwise. For embedded AI, complete the applicable offering-level AI enablement and security setup, then verify the experience in Oracle Permitting and Licensing.
