Create Policy Models in AI Agent Studio Interface

You can now create policy models in AI Agent Studio to enable reliable, repeatable, and deterministic policy-based decision-making at runtime. Policy models transform unstructured business policies into executable logic that agents can use to consistently evaluate rules, calculations, and decisions without relying solely on non-deterministic AI responses. At design time, upload or enter policy rules into AI Agent Studio, generate executable code that implements the policy, and create test cases to validate correctness of the generated code. At runtime, use the policy node to invoke the policy in agentic workflows.

Policy models enable AI agents to consistently enforce business policies and operational rules through fast, deterministic runtime evaluation. This model reduces operational risk, improves compliance, simplifies policy maintenance, and accelerates decision-making across workflows such as approvals, eligibility validation, and compliance checks. By integrating policy enforcement directly within AI Agent Studio, organizations can avoid hard-coded rule engines while maintaining the flexibility to quickly adapt to evolving business requirements.
