Add Requirements with Generative AI
Welcome to the demo on create negotiation requirements with Generative AI in Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement Sourcing. In sourcing negotiations, organizations often capture information about suppliers, their technical details, commercial and financial viability, prerequisites, or risk factors.
They do this in the form of responses to the requirements. Creating and adding relevant requirements may involve significant effort, research, analysis, and authoring by the category managers.
In this demo, I will show you how category managers can use generative AI to significantly shorten the time needed to write and add requirements that are pertinent to the negotiation. I am a category manager wanting to procure health care supplies from suppliers. I will create an RFQ by using a negotiation template.
After adding all the required information, I will add the line items that I want to procure. The AI will use key information like negotiation type, title, line categories, and requirement section names to generate a set of relevant requirements.
Since I am using a negotiation template to create my RFQ, I can already see some lines, sections, and their corresponding requirements added to the negotiation. Click on the AI Assist button to open the requirements GenAI page.
Select a section from the drop down. You may select an existing section or enter a new section name and have the AI generate new requirements. Here, you see the list of requirements generated for the quality assurance and compliance section. You can select the requirements that are most suited to the RFQ.
You can also click Generate once more if the requirements do not match the context of the RFQ. If required, you can make necessary edits to the requirement. Click on the Edit icon here to open the Edit panel.
You may choose to update the requirement title, text, the scoring type, maximum score, target values as required. Click on the Save button once all the changes are done. Once you have reviewed all the requirements, select the suitable requirements and click on the Add button.
You will now be navigated to the requirements train stop, where the selected requirements are now added to the RFQ. You can see how GenAI can notably reduce your time needed to research, author, and enter the requirements in an RFQ. You can now continue to work on publishing your draft RFQ. This concludes the demonstration.
