Generate Excel-Based Change Summary Report with Redline Information
Hello. Welcome to the demo of update 24D feature, generate Excel-based change summary report with Redline Information in SCM Product Lifecycle Management module.
This is an update on the existing Change Order Details Report, which is present today. Based on the inputs taken from the customers, now the report is made available in an Excel format. The report is split into multiple sheets and each sheet containing specific information about the change order and its redlines. Users can now easily navigate to any particular redline to verify the update with the help of the Split Sheet Report, which is also color-coded for easy identification.
Users can also view the complete change order header information along with the change attachment information to understand the scope of the change. Now, let us move on to the demo.
Here is an already existing change order with the related information affected items and the redlines. To access the Change Order Details Report, the user should make sure they have updated to the new feature, generate Excel-Based Chain Summary Report with Redline Information. Business should follow the existing steps to generate the new Change Order Detail Report, which is Actions. Click on Change Order Details Report.
Now, users will see the template to be Change Order Summary Report, and the default output format as Excel. Let us click on Go and download the report. The report is Excel-based and contains macros, so please make sure the macros are not blocked in your individual systems before opening the report.
In this report, the first sheet gives us the complete information about the change order with the change attributes DFFs and EFFs. The next sheet gives us the complete list of affected items and its attributes. From the third sheet, we can see the specific redlines made on the affected items. In the item attribute redline sheet, we can see the color codes for the actions made on the attributes, along with its old and new values.
Similarly, we can see the structure changes in the item structure redline sheet. We have separate sheets to capture reference designator and substitute redlines. Next, we have AML redlines, followed by item attachment redlines. In the last sheet, we can see all the attachments linked to the change order.
