Generate Inspection Instructions for the Entire Inspection Plan using Generative AI
Welcome to the demo of the Generate Inspection Instructions for the Entire Inspection Plan using Generative AI feature in Manufacturing Quality Inspection Management. In this demo, we'll cover how to use the AI Assist button on the Inspection Plan details page to generate inspection instructions for the entire inspection plan based on the preliminary information, and review and edit the proposed description. You'll see that this feature provides an enhanced user experience, and more efficient and consistent definition of inspection plan inspection instructions.
We'll begin by defining our inspection plan. I've taken the liberty of already beginning to define our plan. I've created the inspection plan under name the Tow Truck Inspection. It's an asset type inspection. And I've gone ahead and I've defined all the required information. I've also taken the liberty of defining the specifications for this particular inspection plan. So as you notice, I've set up everything that's required. I've gotten the minimum and maximum targets, everything that's required for your specifications.
And now that I've done that and I've saved my specifications, I can go ahead, and you'll notice this new link for inspection instructions. And I'm going to go ahead and click on that. And then you'll notice that the inspection instructions are available to you. You can enter inspection instructions manually, or we can use this new AI Assist button to go ahead and generate inspections instructions based upon the fact that this is an asset type inspection plan. It's for a Tow Truck and for the specifications that we've defined here.
So let's go ahead and do that. So you see that we have some inspection instructions generated. As with all AI-assisted generated data, these are suggestions. You can go ahead and modify them as needed. So for instance, if I said this check will be 20 minutes instead of 15, I can go ahead and do that. I can add additional notes if I wanted. If I don't like what I've done, I can go ahead and actually regenerate this.
If I made some changes or I made a mistake, I can go ahead and regenerate this. It will warn you that the existing instructions will be deleted, but I want to go ahead and regenerate this anyhow. And as you see, it'll regenerate the suggestions for your inspection instructions. And once you've made your modifications. You've done everything you want. You can make additions. I'm just going to go ahead and put additional notes just a little.
I can go ahead and press Save. And if I come back, you'll see that my changes are saved, including the additional notes. And now I can go ahead and continue on. If there's any other changes I need to make to my inspection plan, I can do that. If I change my specifications, I can again go in there and regenerate the inspection instructions or manually update them as required. So everything's defined here. So I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to improve this inspection plan. I'm going to save this.
So now that our inspection plan is saved, let's go have a look at that. You'll see that it's in approved status. So we can go ahead and perform an inspection using that inspection plan. So let's go back and do just that. We're going to create new inspection. And we're going to specify the organization that we use in our definition of our inspection plan. We're going to perform an asset type inspection. And our asset number, it was a Tow Truck.
So let's inspect for Tow Truck number one. And we'll see that our inspection plan comes up. Let's choose our inspection plan, and create our inspection. You'll see that we've got our inspection plan. And if we go to More now, we can view our inspection instructions. So as you can see, our inspection instructions pop up. Tell us exactly how to perform our inspection, what it takes, what we need to do to check.
And we can go ahead and perform our inspection. Go ahead. Enter some results here. And we can always go back and forth. If we need to refer to our inspection instructions, again, we can go ahead and do that. And there you have it. So that's how we can go ahead and generate inspection instructions and use them as we're performing our inspection. This concludes our demo. Thank you for watching.
