Pending Actions Region within Benefits Summary
Welcome to this 25A demo. I will be showing you how to use the pending actions region within the new Redwood Benefits Summary page in HCM Cloud Benefits. This new feature brings the Redwood design to the pending actions region within the benefits summary page. Administrators require quick and efficient access to tools that support employees in all benefit-related areas. This often includes completing critical tasks on behalf of the employee such as designating a dependent or beneficiary, entering date of birth, a primary care physician’s information or a national identifier.
Enabling the Redwood design enhances administrative efficiency, reduces processing time and minimizes errors in managing employee benefits. I have navigated to the Benefits Summary Page from my client groups and searched for an employee. Notice one of the first items seen on the new Redwood page is the pending actions area. Here I can quickly see any pending actions that might need my attention. All tasks associated with pending actions are in this one area, this includes items that require evidence of insurability, enrollment or dependent certifications. Scrolling down I can see all of the active pending actions that are active. If I need to see completed pending actions I can click on the completed button.
Scrolling down shows me all of this employees completed actions.
Each pending action will display information pertaining to that pending action such as plan type, the plan name or option, the dependents name for dependent certifications, whether it is suspended or optional and the due date of this pending action. To move any action item from pending to completed I must complete the outstanding action. Such as designating a beneficiary or dependent, entering a social security number, date of birth or here I will enter a primary care physicians’ information.
I will click on the edit icon which will open a drawer.
And I will enter the employee’s primary care physician’s information. I will click save, I can enter additional primary care information if needed. If I completed, I will click on the x and it will close the drawer and return me to the pending actions area.
That outstanding pending action has now been moved to the completed area. Pending actions that require supporting documentation must be approved or rejected. If rejected you must enter a rejection reason and enter a denied date.
If approved, you must enter a received date and any supporting documentation, if not already supplied.
Once all pending actions have been resolved the note “You’re up to date on your tasks” will be displayed.
The new Redwood pending actions region is delivered enabled when you set the ORA_BEN_ADMINISTRATIVE_ENROLLMENT_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile value to Y at the site level.
This concludes this demo. Thanks for watching.
