This demonstration will show you how you can manage exceptions in Redwood for your supply chain plans. I am on the Redwood supply chain planning work area, where I have selected a supply plan and a page by name. Exceptions is created with exceptions visualization. Selecting exceptions page will now open exceptions visualization for the supply plan.

I am now on the Exceptions page. We can now see the Exceptions page in Redwood, displays the exception details for demand exceptions. We can also see the keyword search, filter chips, and filter buttons. Now, let us select demanded risk due to resource shortage exception and filter the details. We now see that for demand at risk due to resource shortage exception, the results are displayed only for the demand order type sales orders. You can apply multiple filters to review the exception details.

Let us now select an exception detail and navigate to Supplies and Demands page in Redwood. We have selected exception detail for the demand order type forecast for the item KB-CSP-REF02, in organization M1, with a demand date of 14th of January 2030.

In the drill 2 action, Supplies and Demands is selected to navigate from the exception detail of demand at risk due to resource shortage in the Exception page to supplies and demands. We now see in the Supplies and Demands page, the page opens with the navigation context displayed as filtered by order number. Supplies and Demands displays the forecast for the item, KB-CSP-REF02, in organization M1, with the demand date of 14th of January 2030.

Let us now select a measure value for item KB-CSP-REF02, in organization M1, in a material plan. And then select item exceptions in order to drill to and navigate to the exceptions page. We now see the exceptions page opens with navigation context filtered by item and organization, and displays the demand exceptions for items KB-CSP-REF02, in organization M1.

Let us now review measure-based exceptions in a sales and operations plan. The plan EX4-SOP-PLAN01-DM has computed measure-based exceptions. We now see the exception details for the measure-based exception significant deviation between final sales forecast and consensus forecast.

You can filter the exception details for the measure-based exceptions for the default columns. We now see the measure-based exception details are filtered with base measure value between 25 and 50 units.

We now see the measure-based exceptions and exception details displayed in the exceptions page for a demand plan. We now see measure-based exceptions and exception details displayed in Exceptions page for a replenishment plan. With this, we conclude this demonstration. Thank you for listening.
