Release Planned Transfer Orders Grouped by Source and Destination Pairs

Hello. My name is Rajan. Welcome to training for supply planning in Oracle Supply Chain Planning. In this session, we will talk about release planned transfer orders grouped by source and destination pairs. With this enhancement, user can now release planned transfer orders for execution by using the plan option at source and destination level for the transfer load grouped by parameter.

This ensures that transfer orders are grouped by source and destination when material is shipped from one organization to another downstream inventory organization. This enhancements provide the ability to execute planned transfer orders in the execution system when shipped from one organization to another organization when interfaced to Order Management or shipping. Now let's look at a small demo for this feature.

Here, I have opened the plan option page in Oracle Fusion Supply Planning for the unconstrained supply plan that ends with Cal_Group. Under the Advanced option in the Supply tab, we have selected the source and destination dropdown option for the transfer load group by parameter. Next, after the plan run was completed, I have opened the supplies and demand page for the above plan that ends with Cal_Group.

Here, we can see that the four plan transfer orders are generated for the following item that ends with item 1 and item 2 from source organization M2 to destination organization M1 of order quantity 1 on respective due dates in January 2030. Similarly, two plan transfer orders are also generated for item 3 from source organization M3 to destination organization M1 of order quantity 1 on respective due dates in January 2030. And also, two plan transfer orders are generated for item 4 from source organization M1 to destination organization M2 of order quantity 1 on respective due dates in January 2030.

Now, in the interest of time, I have marked these records for release, and released has shown in the released status. After that, I went to the inventory management work area and opened the manage transfer orders page. In the advanced search criteria, I have given the transfer order number as 348098 to search the specific transfer orders which were shipped from source organization M2 to destination organization M1.

Here, we can see that the planned transfer orders in supply planning from M2 to M1 are grouped under one transfer order number, having four different lines under it in the inventory management work area. Similarly, in the advanced search criteria, next, I have given the transfer order number as 346104 to search the specific transfer orders which were shipped from source organization M3 to destination organization M1. Here, we can see that the planned transfer order in supply planning from M3 to M1 are grouped under one transfer order number and having two different lines under it in the inventory management work area.

Similarly, in the advanced search criteria, next, I have given the transfer order number as 346103 to search the specific transfer orders which were shipped from source organization M1 to destination organization M2. Here, we can also see that the plan transfer order in supply planning from M1 to M2 are grouped under one transfer order number, having two different lines under it in the management, in the inventory management work area. Thus, now the transfer orders are grouped by source and destination pairs when material is shipped from one source organization to another destination organization, providing the ability to execute these transfer orders.

Thank you for listening. For more details, please look into the 24, the what's new document for this feature.
