View Item Quantities Using a Redwood Page

Welcome to the training for Oracle Fusion Inventory Management in Oracle supply chain Management Cloud. In this session, we talk about the feature view item quantities using a Redwood page. In this demonstration, we will show how to view item quantities using the Redwood page. We will begin the demonstration by navigating to the inventory management landing page.

We'll use the task in the inventory work area and navigate to the item quantities task. This brings us to the Redwood page for item quantities. On this page, you can view on hand quantities for a specific organization or across multiple organizations. You can search for item quantity using the item, item description or manufacturer part number attributes.

Additionally, you can use the filter chips for organization, item, ownership and additional filters to refine your search. Let's go ahead and search for the On Hand for a specific item. This provides us on hand quantities for the item across multiple organizations.

The ownership here indicates that it brings up the records, both which are consigned as well as owned. For a specific type, you see the ownership, whether it's owned, consigned or a mix of both owned and consigned. For each on hand record, you can see the on hand quantity. You also get to see On Hand quantity and Receiving and Inbound locations, and the available to reserve and available to transact quantity for a specific item in org combination.

When you click on the Inbound Quantity link, it gets you to the Inbound detail section, which indicates the quantity which is in-transit as well as the unshipped quantity across different document types. The document types which are used for considering the inbound quantity or purchase order, transfer order in-transit shipment and requisition.

You can view the shipment quantity corresponding to a document number by clicking on the shipment link here. So for transfer order, there is 15 transit. You click on the shipment and it indicates the shipment number and the quantity which is in transit for that document number. Similarly, when there are multiple shipments, you can view the received and in-transit quantity corresponding to different shipment numbers.

On the Item tab, you'll see the quantity either by primary unit of measure or by stocking unit of measure if the stocking unit of measure for an item is set up at an organization or subinventory. You can view on hand quantities for item at an org level or at a subinventory, subinventory and locator level, project, project and task or at a detailed level.

In the Details toggle you get to see on hand quantity for a combination of item or subinventory locator, project task and country of origin attributes. You can download the information onto a spreadsheet by clicking on the download link here. Let's clear the filters and view the information for the lot control item for which we'll get to the Lots tab.

You can search for the item and organization in order to see the lot quantities corresponding to an item. And you can view the lot details by clicking on the lot number link. This provides additional details for the lot, which includes the expiration date, expiration action date, origination type and other details.

If you want to search for a specific lot can refine your search by querying for a specific lot number. And if you know your lot number, you can also simply enter your lot number here to view on hand for a specific lot number. We'll clear the search and view the information for a serial controlled item.

In order to view the information for a serial number, you have to search either by a specific serial number at the top or you can search by a combination of org subinventory and item. We'll enter the organization since we are in a multi org view and the subinventory and the item number.

This provides a list of all the serial numbers which are available in that particular org and subinventory. It also indicates the status of the serial number corresponding to a serial number. You can narrow your search for a specific serial number using the filter chips from and to serial number.

If you want to view the status for a specific serial number, you can directly enter the serial number here at the top and look for the location and the status details for the serial number. This concludes our demonstration. Thank you.
