Multiple Document Attachment Support for Party

You can now attach multiple documents against Party (Individual) to support use cases such as user or individual identification.

To support this feature, the Party API (TMF632) IndividualIdentification.AttachmentRefOrValue has been leveraged.

File types that are supported are pdf, doc/docx, jpg/jpeg, bmp, png and gif. The documents can be stored in any document management system through the Document management adaptor. The CXIF document management adaptor has to be configured to work with the desired Document Management System.

You can attach one or more documents during party creation or subsequently during Party update.

Once the documents are attached, they can be updated and retrieved.

The business benefit of this feature is that the Communication Service Providers (CSPs) can use the identification documents to validate the individual before engaging for transactions.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Access Requirements

Both Subscriber and Support Specialist roles can access this feature. Support Specialist can perform the operations for multiple subscribers. A subscriber can do these operations only for his or her own documents.
